​At Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM), we are dedicated to educating healthcare practitioners who are highly skilled in acupuncture and integrative medicine. Our mission is to provide the community with affordable healthcare services while promoting the growth and practice of these disciplines.

Established in 2004, VUIM has expanded to multiple campuses, including locations in Virginia, New Jersey, and Georgia. We offer a variety of programs, such as the Master of Science in Acupuncture (MAc), Master of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (MAcHM), Doctor of Acupuncture (DAc), Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM), Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), and a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine (CCHM).

Our diverse and experienced faculty are committed to providing rigorous academics and hands-on clinical experience, ensuring that students are well-prepared to become leaders in integrative healthcare.

VUIM is institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM) and certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). We are also approved to offer programs in New Jersey and Georgia, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high educational standards. ​
